Banana is my staple food

Bananas are an amazing food and fruit. The taste is amazing, nutrition concentration and energy concentration (89 kcal per 100 grams of raw fruit) are exceptional (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banana). The energy distribution is about 92,7% carbohydrates (sugars), 4,5% protein, and 2,8% fat. I love raw banana, dried banana, frozen banana, banana smoothie, banana cake, banana flatbread, and grilled banana.

If you live in the tropics or sub tropics, the banana palm is easy to grow and can survive almost any condition and storm. The mother palm might break, but new shoots will pop out after the havoc.

We grow at least 5 different varieties of bananas at Vegan Camp Thailand.

  1. The apple banana also known as the Thai banana in Thailand (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latundan_banana).
  2. Cavendish (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cavendish_banana).
  3. Red cavendish (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_banana).
  4. Finger banana (
  5. And an odd apple banana type, I don't know the name of. The acidity is a bit higher in this type, which covers up some of the overwhelming sweetness of the normal apple bananas.
